There are two easy ways to record your decision to become an organ donor in Texas. Choose the option that works best for you.

Online: Register your decision through the Texas donor registry. Online registration records your decision but does not add a Hero’s Heart symbol to your current driver’s license or state ID card.

At a DPS Office: Check the organ donor box when you apply for, renew or update your Texas driver’s license or state ID card. Your new license or ID will display a Hero’s Heart symbol.

You only need to register once. No matter which option you choose, your decision can make a lasting difference.
